Ferulic acid：To create the perfect new sport-drink

As we all know, regular exercise is good for our health. But scientists have discovered recently, movement also has certain side effects, namely, it has certain implicit damage to human body. The arch-criminal of this damage is free radicals.

   The scientists found further that free radicals ,which is damage to human health  are almost related with high active oxygen containing material, they called these free radicals” living oxygen free radicals”.    Ferulic acid ( also known as the 3 - methoxy - 4 - hydroxy cinnamic acid ) is a kind of good and non-toxic plant-derived antioxidants, and can stimulate the secretion of the hormone, many foreign sports food are added with ferulic acid or ferulic acid herbs. 


 Research shows, ferulic acid has the good antioxidant activity, hydrogen peroxide, superoxide radical, peroxynitrite has strong scavenging effect. Ferulic acid can not only free radical quenching, regulating the body's physiological function, inhibit the generation of free radical enzyme, promote free radical scavenging enzymes produced, but also greatly increased glutathione S-transferase and quinone garden enzyme activity, inhibition of tyrosinase activity, and membrane phospholipids with amide conjugates, protect membrane lipid from free radical attack.
