Cinnamaldehyde: Improving Vulcanized Rubber Properties




Hua Qi (Zhangjiagang) Chemical Co., Ltd. has invented a modification of vulcanized rubber composition. It includes: rubber selected from natural rubber or synthetic rubber composition; methylene donor; and methylene acceptor substituted aralkyl phenolic resin. The aralkyl substituted phenols (resorcinol) methylene resin can be unsubstituted or substituted phenolic compounds and vinyl aromatic compounds, as well as cinnamic aldehyde in the organic metal phosphite or sub-the presence of phosphate catalyst prepared by the reaction. 
In the test of Tensile strength and dynamic mechanical properties, the two phenol phenolic resin showed much better performance than R-80 and resorcinol - formaldehyde (RF) resin products.
The modification of vulcanized rubber composition is more excellent than traditional rubber reinforcing agent, which can be widely used in pneumatic tires, hoses, rubber soles and other products.
